Studio ATAO, Inc. (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website www.studioatao.org, including any other media form, media channel, or mobile website related or connected thereto (collectively, the “Site and our other digital platforms”). Specifically, this includes information we collect from websites such as donation platforms (GiveLively, GiveButter, GoFundMe, Patreon), ticketing platforms (Eventbrite), and other information provided to us via the main website and other third party platforms that we use to provide our services.  

 

Please read this privacy policy carefully.  If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site. 

 

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason.  We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this Privacy Policy.  Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification.

Personal Data

Derivative Data 

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, the time and date of your visit, pages that you visit on the Site, time spent on those pages, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.

We do not have access to any specific financial information such as credit card number or expiration date; such financial information is stored by our payment processors, including Stripe, PayPal, WePay or other payment platforms. Facebook Permissions

The Site may by default access your Facebook basic account information, including your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL, as well as other information that you choose to make public. We may also request access to other permissions related to your account, such as friends, check-ins, and likes, and you may choose to grant or deny us access to each individual permission. Data From Social Networks 

User information from social networking sites, such as [Apple’s Game Center, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter], including your name, your social network username, location, gender, birth date, email address, profile picture, and public data for contacts, if you connect your account to such social networks.

 

Data From Contests, Giveaways, and Surveys 

Personal and other information you may provide when entering contests or giveaways and/or responding to surveys.

We don’t share your personal information with third parties. Aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Site and our services.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

 

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.  No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.  If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

 

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Site, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Site.
